The Department of Computer Engineering and Digital Systems has thirteen research groups, with applied research over its Graduate and Undergraduate courses.

The PCS is responsible for the Major in Digital Systems, one of the five Graduate Program Concentration Areas in Electrical Engineering from the Polytechnic School of USP (PPGEE / EPUSP).
