The population chosen as the competition target are people with chronic respiratory diseases.

Asthma, rhinitis, chronic bronchitis and crhonic obstructive pulmonary diseases (COPD) are some of the most prevalent pulmonary diseases, that affect millions of people of all ages. Chronic Respiratory Diseases (CRD) bring physical and emotional limitations to patients and their families and great human suffering.

According to the Brazilian Health Ministery, the World Health Organization (WHO) report four million premature deaths because of DRC, and they foresee an increase in this number.

When less severe, CRD cause impact in educational and professional performance of their patients..

Many fatalities can be avoided, and life quality can be improved if patients use correctly their medication and physical exercises. Unfortunately, many do not follow the reccommendations.
